Hi Eric,

A way to do this is creating a third party tool which splits the mp3 (or
wave) file when the tone is there. Could you perhaps record a piece of
audio with the tone and the surrounding sounds as mp3 and send it to me,
or upload it somewhere? Note this: there is about a 1% chance that I have
time to figure it out, so don't hold your breath. But it sounds like a fun
project.
