Re: Variable speed on the Iriver?

Hi All

Sorry to write again on the same topic but I just had an idea. I currently have two config files saved on my H 340, one for books where I have a flat bass and treble and no shuffle and one for music where I have boosted the bass and treble and added shuffle and crossfade. What I want to know is that if on my audio book config file I speed up the playback and then save this as a new config file then theoretically I could switch between the normal speed and a faster one by changing config files thus ensuring I always get it back to normal speed for music playback? Does that sound right?

Cheers

Hamish

To adjust the speed of the playback, hold Play and either up or down while in the WPS screen.
  Hope this helps,

Hi Tom, this is fantastic news. I have not found this in the UI, although I
think there is one option in playback settings that doesn't talk so perhaps
this is it. Can you describe where one finds the variable speed setting?
This would sure make a difference for listening to audio books. Thanks.

Yes, you can change playback speed on irivers using this.
I don't think this screen speaks in any way, but might be wrong. Never tried
    it.
