I am considering selling my IHP140 (black and white screen, lcd
remote, 40gig, runs rockbox great, optical in/out) on ebay, as im on
the point of ordering something that can play videos (like the
istation i2). Its in pretty good condition, with the packaging that
came with it, and a spare LCD remote. The leather case has been cut to
allow easier access to the reset switch though (due to early Rockbox
crashes!)

Anyone know how much its worth? the other option is to take it apart
for the 40gig hdd and put that in my istation (assuming it will
fit)... is there more than one kind of 1.8" hdd?

If this is what you are interested in, make me an offer on iriver_at_ripnet.co.uk
