If voice were enabled, then, at boot, rockbox could say "boot complete" or <whatever>. If that sample were "Powered by <sound-synth>" or similar, would one of the voice synth companies consider that to be sufficient advertising in exchange for allowing us to distribute voice fonts made by their software. Not free. Not pay. Just good cost effective publicity! I'm sure the blind people would happily hassle their repsective synth companies to get one interested, and then Zagor can take over from there to satisfyhis legal requirements?
