Wasn't up to at&t, but might be better than the ms synth. In fairness, the sort of speech synth that will run on these low-specced devices is not going to compete with a 2GB install of a professional synth on your AMD64 for many reasons - but what it _would_ mean is that you will never need to generate sound clips ever again.
