Is this still a bug > that needs to be fixed in Rockbox? I tried recording on a H120 with the Voice menus on using the latest bleeding edge daily build (06-02-01). I did this: I activated voice menus and numbers for directories and filenames. I then restarted the unit to get it into a state your Iriver would be. I then started a microphone recording. This ran without problems for one hour (then I stopped it). To walk you through: I made shure that I gave the voice menu time to finish talking before entering the recording screen. After entering the screen, I could hear the microphone through the headphones. I then pressed REC briefly and the HD span up while the recording started. The HD was running for 6 seconds into the recording. >From then point on the HD span up every 3 minutes. Stopping worked OK as well. One brief press of the STOP button stopped recording and immediately caused HD access. I waited for the HD to stop. Afterwards I pressed STOP again and from that point on the menus talked again. Of course recording is not finished yet. It lacks digital input and has cosmetic problems like the STOP icon being displayed while recording or the small font used (no while-recording-screen yet). I use it often and have had no problems, even with recordings that are larger than 2GB in size. Hope this helps.
