Not that much bass though, and high impedance, so if you want them strictly for mobile use, you might want to check out the ER6i's instead (i = iPod, apparently :). They have less impedance, and supposedly a bit more bass, but I haven't tried them. The ER6's however, have a really easy-to-listen-to sound, very unlike all other earphones I've tried. Clear sound, and doesn't stress your ears. The only downside is that your ears might not physically like the way they plug into your ear canals, but for me, I can't push them very far, but they block outside noise nonetheless. Oh, and the price is steep, but I'm happy :). They also come with both silicone flanged plugs and foam plugs, whichever suits you better. I'll be testing my pair (and Rockbox) on a long-haul flight to Japan in two weeks, so I'm hoping they'll block that kind of noise just as well. One word of advice though, if sound output drops dramatically, change the filter inside. One of the filters was already stuffed when I received them, and I was thinking the whole earplug is broken. Took me an entire day of testing and wondering before I realized it. Now, if only I had money to try out the ER4's... -Frej Received on 2006-02-02 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
