This is correct. But we say "Akku" as short for "Akkumulator", well, at
least, I use this word. Translating this to "Accu" did sound anusual.
"Accumulator" does sound anusual, too, but I have found this in the
leo-dictionary. ;)

Ok, the next time I will use the word "batteries" and if it is important
"rechargable batteries".
