So you'd recommend forgoing the benefits of a JBR, probably one
available at a good price, because once a year or less you might run
scandisk and have to let it run overnight? Personally, that doesn't
even show up on my radar screen. If I had to take the disk back out
to scandisk it, that would be no big deal.

I have no idea what the voice clip generator is but since neither me
nor any of my friends for whom I've obtained JBRs has ever needed it,
safe to say that it isn't important to our enjoyment.
