What is the development rate on the ipod videos? I'm trying to decide whether or not it's worth getting one. I like that ipods, but I really don't think the battery is anything to die for. In fact, I know that ipod has the worse battery life out of any MP3 player on the market today. What do you think all? Is it worth it?

The IRiver's have a killer feature (for me) - being a inline LCD remote which makes use on a pedal cycle safe(ish)...
If I didnt want that right now, I would go for the iPod video.

Well, here's what I've learned here:

If you want an Archos Jukebox, go Ebay (but they're very old)

If you want an iRiver, Ebay again: H340 (expensive), IHP-120 (20gb) and
    IHP-140 (40gb) around $250.

Best bet would be the iPod Color or Nano; not completely ready, but
readily available, popular, and development is proceeding quickly.

    Thanks!
