What version of Rockbox are you running?

If it's the standard 2.5 or 2.4, then it should store up to 10 bookmarks
in the Most Recent Bookmarks file. Be aware that if you have the
"Maintain List of Recent Bookmarks" set to "Unique Only", then it will
keep only the latest bookmark for a directory or playlist.

I have my own modified version of 2.5 which allows up to 100 most recent
bookmarks, plus other display and user interface changes.
