Disabling it completely might be a bit hard right now, since
Rockbox is pretty dependent on it for navigation. It would
really require us to code two separate button maps for the
Ipod target, and I don't believe anything like that has been done
in Rockbox before. This is no reason not to try it, of course.
Would adding some type of wheel feedback like the original firmware
has with a sound in the external loudspeaker for every step be
of any help, though?
