Doesn't the song title speak if it is stopped?
Or whatever the voice tag is for that file.
Glenn

At the risk of being greedy :-) is this possible -- to have the Ipod
announce whether a song has been paused or stopped. I'm never sure if I
have held play so long as to truly stop the song or just pause it which
I think has an effect on other features.

Thanks.

Ok, I'll see about making the speaker tick when clickwheel is used.
And yeah, as you've probably noticed, the voice UI is nowhere near
perfect, but it'll be better when we overhaul the audio system somewhat
and start making up to date voice files again.
