Wait a minute.. Did you compile the bootloader yourself? That's a big nono. And 2.5 is *not* for the iriver. Don't even think about it. Also, we do not support the 1.04 version. The fwpatcher utility checks the MD5 sum and signals an error if it isn't correct. The MD5 sum table in the Wiki is only for those who patch "by hand".
