Date: Tue, 11 Apr 2006 22:01:40 -0500 I tried the freezing trick once on my non-functional 80 GB drive, but it did not work. Maybe my deep freezer did not get cold enough. With regard to the humidity, I put my drive in a thick zip lock baggie before freezing it. But freezing it is supposed to un-stick the heads, allowing them to move again, I believe. Your freezer-trick (we're still waiting for the explanation :-) included getting the recV2 to the freezer as well ? I hope it was not too humid there where you got it out of the fridge ! ~lImbus Received on 2006-04-12 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
