Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 13:04:44 +0100 Hi all, I'm having the same problem with the battery life of my 2 H340's as Ian. I get about 1.5 hours at the most of life playing music, a bit longer playing audio books. . The problem is of course, that without rockbox, I can't use my player as I don't use the screen. Could the developers possibly add an option to disable the battery monitoring function until that problem's fixed?Additionally both of my units have to be turned on with the mains off. They don't talk with mains power connected, and indeed I don't know whether rockbox even loads. I did put a message on the list about this just before the developers' conference, but didn't express the problem very clearly, sorry for that. Any help would be great. True, but my point was that every time I used my H320 with Rockbox, my battery life was lower and lower after a full charge. And when Rockbox shut off because it thought my battery was too low, I could boot into the original firmware and there was still full battery life reported. In fact, I've been playing it all weekend and it's been just fine, so I need to remove Rockbox for the time being, 'cause I can't be driving around Los Angeles while trying to fiddle with my player. -id >>ian douglas wrote: >>>...
