Hi all,

Peter made some changes recently which fixed the crashes upon exiting
the recording screen with the voice UI enabled but prerecording
disabled. Interestingly enough, the recording menu in the recording
screen now speaks, even with prerecord enabled! I thought the recording
code always used the voice buffer, hence the need for
talk_buffer_steal() in all cases for SWCODEC platforms. However, now I'm
wondering whether this is actually necessary, as prerecording still
seems to function even while the menus are speaking. Can anyone explain
this? This is just a matter of curiosity; it is great that it is
working! :) I'm not sure if it was intentional, but thanks anyway!
Unit is an Iriver H300.
