I've briefly used a nano with rockbox and am using my with rockbox. I
have noticed some lag while the disk spins up, but it isn't anything
irrirating. The main performance difference comes from the resolution
of the devices. If you are playing games or using plugins, the nano is
much faster, since it has about 1/2 the resolution of the video. I
can't play a lot of games and play music at the same time on my video,
whereas it is no problem on the nano.
