And installing Rockbox will void your warranty anyway. After my lousy experiences with the iRiver RMA department I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy stuff from iRiver anymore. Although if you're installing Rockbox, it probably doesn't matter. :-) (The device refused to charge the internal battery after a bit more than a year, so I sent it in since the thing is supposed to be under a two-year warranty, and then they tell me, after letting me wait for two months, that the thing got damaged because of water (while the thing *never* got wet or whatever, so it sounds like an excuse to me) and they want to repair it only if I pay them more money than the thing actually costed me. Another month later, I still don't have my player back.) I'm still tempted to advice you to buy an iAudio. ;-) Wilmer van der Gaast. -- +-------- .''`. - -- ---+ + - -- --- ---- ----- ------+ | wilmer : :' : gaast.net | | OSS Programmer www.bitlbee.org | | lintux `. `~' debian.org | | Full-time geek wilmer.gaast.net | +--- -- - ` ---------------+ +------ ----- ---- --- -- - +Received on 2006-05-13 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
