I had it with the iMP-550, I guess they just want to get rid of all
those CD-based players. I'm glad I'm not the only one having this kind
of problems.

To Brian: You just had a very nice review of the X5(L) already. :-) I
have an M5L and I'm also very satisfied. The sound is great, the
battery life is impressive (I use it at least four hours every day and
so far I charge it about once a week), the only small annoyance is that
it doesn't play Oggs (don't know about MP3s) without gaps, in fact it
leaves out the last 0.2 secs of an Ogg for some reason.

I didn't run Rockbox on it yet (because there's no M5 port yet), but I
hope it'll be there soon too. I have plans to work on it when I get
time (however, time is a problem ATM).
