I'll try out a different cable tomorrow, but I think there's little
hope.
The unit should be under a 2 year's warranty so I think I'll send it back to
amazon in hope that they will be so kind to swap it. If not I might get
the chance to put in a new (and probably bigger) hardrive myself.
