Recording works great and has not failed me once in the last 50 hours as long as enough HD space was available. Some small things could be improved, so here are some suggestions: - Recording Icon: Currently, the Iriver shows the square "STOP" icon when a recording in stopped or running. Can this be changed so the icon changed to the circle used on Archos units? - Recording to the last byte: When the HD space runs out during a recording the last file becomes unplayable until fixed on a PC.Maybe the Iriver could stop recording a few bytes earlier to prevent this from happening. After the feature freeze it would be useful to move the "view disk info" from the the "Debug (keep out!)" menu into the recording menu. The free space reported in the "Rockbox Info" often is incorrect by several gigabytes. Only the hidden "view disk info" menu allows the scanning of the HD to show the correct free space. So I'd like to have this in the recording menu - maybe as a dumbed down version that scans the HD, corrects the free space information and then displays the free space in bytes and recording time.
