Hi Brian,
Regarding your speech loss issues, if you have resume on startup
enabled, the player should speak if you make it speak while audio is
playing. If you do not do this and you press stop, speech will not work.
The best work around at present is to disable resume on startup
completely and just press play once the unit is powered on, as resume on
startup seems to be causing some weird issues at present. I've tried to
figure out what is causing them myself, but have not a clue.
