Hi Folks, My player problem has been solved, many thanks to all! When I deleted the existing English.voice file and then copied over one from a daily build, it all came up talking. I can only assume that maybe windows did not correctly overwrite the voice file in the first install. Anyway many thanks again, off to play with it now! Regards, Stuart. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stuart Lawler" <info_at_stuartlawler.com> To: "Rockbox" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Tuesday, May 30, 2006 6:22 PM Subject: Re: Which version for which player? > Hey Rocker, > > I'm sorry but this simply doesn't work on my player. > > I unzip the file, replace the 'Rockbox' Folder and the ajbrec file and > then download the latest 'MS Mary' voice from the website, install it into > the langs directory, replacing my older voice file, turn on the unit and > no speech. > > It does however play files audio files. > > Now my question.
