Subject: rockbox stability
on saturday i downloaded and updated my rockbox and the speech.
however i really wish i hadn't now for some reason this rockbox that i am
currently running seems highly unstable.
it kepped randomly crashing and freezing when i stopped files and didn't
display any error codes.
given the choice i'd love to back date my rockbox version to the one i was
running before as that did run very stabily however i can't remember what
version i was running.
as this is the case can people suggest ways of me finding out what is
causing the instability, and also how to stop the speech just going off and
randomly reading me things that aren't even in the menus.
and on the subject of speech i have a suggestion could some kind of hot key
be introduced similar to the control key for jaws to shut speech up
instantly? as its very anoying to have directory names spelled at you even
when you have found the one you want.
thanks for your help.
