I suspect this is primarily designed for units that require a software charging algorithm, but I still wonder why Rockbox doesn't drop the user into the charging screen when the user requests a power down instead of leaving them in the browser/WPS. The bootloader starting the Iriver firmware when the charger is connected is currently intentional, though this was one of my other questions; i.e. how much work is there before Rockbox can boot on charger insert when powered off?
