Thanks for the tip on h2format... that did the trick. So much easier
than building boot disks!

At first it was giving me some german text that babelfish translated to
"Partition already formats". So using the Disk Management tool I
removed the partition and created a new partition and then running
h2format yields an ok and it's good to go.
