Date: Mon, 26 Jun 2006 14:36:24 -0400 Definitely plug in the AC adaptor and see if it powers up. I had the problem on my V2 where it would not power up off of the batteries, but would be OK on AC power. I had to remove the battery and bend the connectors that are deep inside the unit toward the battery with a modified paperclip to get a better contact. After a full charge, everything was fine.
