I have a 60gb video. ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul Louden To: Rockbox Sent: Saturday, July 15, 2006 9:25 AM Subject: Re: Fw: Apple pips its rivals with the iPod that talks According to their patent, the system uses pre-recorded clips, somewhat similar to the .talk clips you can generate for filenames for Rockbox to use, I believe. I wonder how does the system knows in which language the song title or the artist has to be pronounced. How can it distinguish between a Chinese, Japanese, German, or French name? I know a Japanese band with the name „Les 5-4-3-2-1". I don't know how I should pronounce this name without further information. Because of the „Les" I would suggest French, but that's a guess.
