These steps should be done from time-to-time anyway. If that does not fix it, try installing a voice, and then all of your computer speech engines may work. I have some Microsoft voices I could send you if you don't have any. Or you could go to Microsoft.com, and download the latest SAPI software. This is because as of yesterday, I have not been able to access the text to speech engine when in the control panel. When I select Speech from control panel, that is OK, but when I click the text to speech tabbed page, I get the following error. Does anyone please know how to resolve this? Thank you. RUNDLL An exception occurred while trying to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Speech\sapi.cpl",Speech" OK Brian Hartgen MSN: brian_at_hartgen.org SKYPE: brianhartgen SKYPE IN UK: 0208-133-7186 SKYPE IN US: 213-985-3581 Received on 2006-10-01 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
