Hi Stéphane,

I'm not familiar with the X5L key layout, but it sounds like you are
actually pausing music, rather than stopping it; there is normally a
separate button for STOP. When stopped, you should find that menus, file
names and directory names can all be voiced.

Currently Rockbox does not talk when in PAUSE mode - the pause actually
pauses all audio output! This is obviously not ideal, but it is not an easy
fix, unfortunately.
