Another way to do it is to use a hardware synth.

Total Recorder records one sound stream, so if it's recording a file playing on your computer, it won't record JAWS or other sounds. I don't know of a way to do this with GoldWave; the only way I've recorded from the sound card, I've had to set it up so it will record all computer sounds, which would include JAWS. They're just finishing up a GoldWave tutorial on Main Menu, the ACB Radio technology show, so there might be an answer there. You can visit
