There is a key lock function in rockbox. It should lock all keys when you
press F1 and down at the same time (for my ondio, hold mode and down). You
might have accidentally done just that, but it doesn't explain the settings
that have changed. You also might have accidentally entered the menu - as
far as i know the archos units don't talk when you enter the menu when it's
playing music at the same time so there would be no voice response and you
would be changing settings without knowing....

Of course, it could be that you didn't and that there's just something
broken, but i've never seen this on my archos ondio.
