I would contact your eBay seller and advise them that the player is
defective and that you wish to return it. If they don't and you used PayPal
to buy you can file a dispute with PP.

Subject: iriver h320 purchase mistake

Hello Rockbox group,
I found an Iriver 320 on Ebay. Maybe a big mistake!
It sure seemed nearly new as the sale claimed.
I waited until my sighted son could help me set up Rockbox on it.
We followed the instructions with the .pdf file to the letter.
But, the result was only static coming through the ear phones, no matter
what we did.
So, I decided to test the mp3 player by reversing anything we did with
rockbox and just try the mp3 player as itself alone.
I had my son format the player.
I then made a directory called music.
I placed a mp3 file in there with the same result, just static.
I know that I should have tried the player first, but this didn't happen.
I beleive that I have made a bad purchase and have bought a player that
needs repair.
I went to www.irver.com and came to what appears to be an unaccessable page.
Does anyone know what might be wrong, or can point me in the right direction
to get this repaired.
Thanks for any help, Dan
