Hi, Sorry if I'm not understanding, but mine isn't in the list. Does that
mean that I have one that I can put rocbox on? the serial number on mine
is, jq5526e1sz9 model number is, ma002ll. Its a 30gig white plastic case

If it's an 80GB then it must be a 5.5 and won't run Rockbox.

If it's a 30GB, it might be a 5.5; see below.

If it's any other size, it isn't a 5.5.

original Fifth Generation iPod by the last three digits of the serial
number. The Fifth Generation iPod (Late 2006) serial number's last three
digits will be one of the following: V9K, V9P, V9M, V9R, V9L, V9N, V9Q,
V9S, WU9, WUA, WUB, and WUC.

The above "(Late 2006)" 30GB/80GB iPods - the so-called 5.5 generation -
do not (yet) run Rockbox.
