Hello,

I just started with rockbox on my brand new iAudio X5 60 GB.
I first used CVS release 20061101 and now I use release 20061104.

I wonder if the tag cache is working at all. I created the tag cache according
to the instruction sin the manual. But whenever I start the player I get the
message "committing tag cache 1/7". But when I want to browse the files by
author, year etc. the player tells me "Tagcache is not ready". And this even
after a couple of hours of playing music. I thought the tag cache is build in
the the background while I listen to music.

I understand that it takes long to create a tag cache for ca. 20 GB of music.
But how long should it really take? How can I verify that everything is running
fine and that tag cache creation is in progress?
