It's known best for JAWS but it is used in many things, phones, notetakers etc. But it is still a SAPI voice. -----Original Message----- From: rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se] On Behalf Of Brent Harding Sent: Monday, 6 November 2006 1:52 PM To: Rockbox Subject: Re: Best Voice File to use? Yes, I've got a couple Sapi voices on my system too for English. I find the Eloquence one too fast. I don't even think Eloquence is even a Sapi voice, it's a JFW specific thing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Herngaard" <pethern_at_email.dk> To: "Rockbox" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Saturday, November 04, 2006 4:18 AM Subject: Re: Best Voice File to use? > Hello Rene > > You can download the deutsch.lang file from the CVS repository. > I would be happy to have my additions added to the voice wiki, but > unfortunately the registration procedure -- namely entering the > verification code -- is simply not accessible with my JAWS screen reader. > I have mailed you a ZIP archive voice.zip containing all necessary files > to begin the voice generation.
