I don't know about that, I imagine you could cobble something using the line-in port, but here's what I know about your earlier question about making mic recordings louder. As far as I can tell the x5 has two possible record gain settings (micboost off or on). On my unit the lower level is practically useless as the level is very low, and the higher setting is just about right. You can adjust the recording gain from the recording screen. There will be no voice messages to guide you. Once you have entered the recording screen, do the following key sequence: -DOWN: to move to the second setting. The first was volume, the second is recording gain. -RIGHT: to increase the setting. That ought to give you a quite usable recording level. The setting should survive reboots and should be saved when you save your settings from the "manage settings" menu. And although it's no longer an issue for you, I'd like to mention there is a patch (P#6325) that makes the recording trigger menu talk. -- Stéphane Doyon <s.doyon_at_videotron.ca> http://pages.infinit.net/sdoyon/Received on 2006-12-13 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
