Date: Fri, 29 Dec 2006 09:01:25 +0000 (GMT) hi, thanks for the info. i'm a bit unsure still though. in the wiki it states: "Since September 6 2004, Rockbox builds rombox by default. However, recently Rockbox has simply grown too big for Rombox. If you want to build a current version of Rombox (which will exclude the DataBase feature), here's what you need to do:" does this mean that the database feature wont work if i flash now because i have to use bootbox? thanks, jc --- Tom Cole <tcole_at_xtra.co.nz> wrote: > > The current flashing system for the Archos machines > is called BootBox. > (The old method you are looking at doesn't leave > enough room in the ROM > to install current versions of Rockbox.) > > Find BootBox here: > http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/BootBox > (Ignore the information about pre-release). > Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com Received on 2006-12-29 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
