Hi, Clement,

I thank you for clarifying the folder question. I was able to play with the 'advanced equalizer settings' and drastically improve the sound that way, but I'm still wondering about the presets.

I can answer one question, but am looking for an answer to the second one as well. No, those directories are of no use. The only ones I kept were firmware and system, but I'm not sure if you need those but I would recommend keeping it to be on the safe side.

  HTH.
  Clement.

    HI again,

I have two X5 inquiries. I hope I'm not overlooking the answers to these.
    Non-Rockbox related question is:
Must we keep in tact all of the folders in the main directory of the unit - For example, pictures? What if I never plan to store pictures on the unit? Is it safe to remove the folder?
    Now the Rockbox related question:
This is more specifically aimed at the blind iAudio users, but any info from anyone is welcome. How do you deal with the sound settings? I think the playback could sound better, but adjusting the bass, treble etc isn't as cut and dry as with the trusty Archos. Have any of you played around with the equalizer?
I see an option called 'Browse equalizer presets', however I'm having difficulty selecting a preset. It always reverts back to 'acoustic'.
Can someone tell me what to do?

    Thanks for your time.

    Erin
