One problem with timestretching is that most of the really good algorithms are proprietary and there is very little free source code out there that can be used by Rockbox. As I said in an earlier email, we have been looking for suitable algorithms for timestretching, and we believe we have found one. We have to adapt it to Rockbox and optimize it, and that is not a trivial task.
