I believe this is the line in jack if you are referring to the second one in
from the right on the sub pack.

Subject: iaudio x5 questions

Hello all:

I was hoping someone could tell me what the small plug between the headphone
jack and otg usb port is

I use my iaudio running rockbox in the car with the iaudio fm transmitter
and charger. It works quite well. On the new car stereo systems, most have
an mp3
input jack. What is this standard? (2 rca jacks???, a 1/8" headphone
plug?)
The fm transmitter and car charger has a plug which fits on the bottom of
the x5l with 2 clips kind of like the old mini scsi cables. To unplug, one
squeezes each side of the plug The subpack that comes with the unit has
only a friction fit. I donn't think it would work well in a car. I saw on
amazon subpacks were available for about $9.

Would someone look at the picture and let me know if they are just like the
subpacks that come with the x5? Or do they have the clips like the fm
transmitter? Also, does the car charger listed for the x5l have any kind of
output jacks on it?

I will be purchasing a new car stereo for my Wife's car soon and would like
to by pass the fm transmitter. I appreciate any ideas anyone has.

THANKS
Terry

P.S. It looks like the Cowon fm transmitter and car charger for the x5l is
no longer available. THat seems strainge.
