Date: Tue, 9 Jan 2007 19:00:26 -0800 The iPod is hard disk based? I would've thought it was one of the few that weren't. Oh well. My mistake. lol. Hmm. Interesting. I'll check it out. Are there any places other than ebay where one could buy these drives? I believe it, like the Ipod and Iriver players, uses 1.8-IN drives manufactured by Toshiba. Most vendors of these types of drives can be found on Ebay. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se] On Behalf Of Clement Chou Sent: Tuesday, January 09, 2007 7:45 PM To: Rockbox Subject: Iaudio hard drive Is it actually possible to change the hard drive on the IAudio X5L? Like I know you can do it with the Archos and iriver players , but I was wondering about the IAudio. And if you can, what hard drive specifically? I know this question's been asked before, but I was wondering and the last person who asked didn't get any response. Clement.
