I too would be interested to know Arnaud's parameters. My reed voices do *not* work with later builds on the iriver targets. But the rest of my voice files do. I suppose I ought to add a note on the site about that...

Hi. Do you know if your voice files work on Iriver targits when exiting the recording screen?
I have one from the rockbox site which I like because it workks with current builds but it is too slow.
Arnaud de Bonald is the one who created it, and it is the IBM Reed voice.
I'm not sure of what particular parameters he is using however, but I'd like to find out so I can make a faster version of it.
Otherwise I have to use for example, Steve's voice which has for me the correct speed, but will only work with builds upto November 21 2006. after that is when that bug that I reported a few months ago kicks in, and it crashes at the record screen, making files of 0 bites.

Does anyone else know what parameters Arnaud de Bonald happens to be using so that his voice files can be duplicated but at a faster speaking rate?
  Thanks much.

In response to another member's question, I have posted some updated VoiceFiles, along with an extracted copy of the current english.lang file, to my website. I am still awaiting Wiki write permissions. The website is:
