Subject: IPod 80 under Linux?

IPod 80 under Linux?

Hi,

If Rockbox cannot access the hard drive due to ata wierdness, does
that mean that you cannot succesfully mount the iPod 80 on a PC
running Linux? or does the ata-usb bridge take care of that and
present the drive as a 'normal' drive?

The reason I ask is because I am quite liking the idea of a small 80gb
mp3 player, as my iRiver is full, and quite big physically by todays
standards. The ability to run Rockbox is a must on any new player.

thanks
