Date: Mon, 29 Jan 2007 22:23:06 +1100 (EST) That is the kind of behaviour I have also seen with my Iriver when trying to charge from USB. I am sure its kept doing that for over a whole night. Is it likely then that this is actually charging when it recycles a boot all the time? If so, then maybe it is ok... But I can't see how power can be going in when it takes power to do the boot cycle... -----Original Message----- From: rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se] On Behalf Of Jean-Philippe Monteiro Sent: Monday, 29 January 2007 10:06 PM To: Rockbox Subject: Re: charging the ipod video On Monday 29 January 2007 17:44, Maurice Press wrote: > Hi, Yes this is what I've found but it doesn't seem to matter. In any occurrence, I'd avoid that & just press Menu Key upon inserting the cable: I prefer it to stay on than to loop-reboot it the whole night... As quoted by other listers, you may as well reboot to Apple & then plug.
