This is a message originally sent to the dimeadozen list about playing FLAC
on iTunes. I know RockBox works with iPods, but is there a RockBox for
iTunes or a plug-in/software that will play FLAC? Or will Rock, once
installed on the iPod, work on iTunes as well?
You can respond to me and I'll tell Mitch, or you can email Mitch personally
and tell him:

Thanks.

Subject: [bt-dimeadozen-org] FLAC files through iTunes
To: bt-dimeadozen-org_at_yahoogroups.com
Hey all you valiant listeners and archivists
so we have all these beautiful flac files
on my mac I can use Cog and find it effective
but for a while a hard added a codec (QT?) to my iTunes so that I
could play flac and ogg files
I know it is hard to keep up with Steve and crew
but does anyone know of any current way to play flac and ogg files
through iTunes?
the interface would be much appreciated, esp for simply listing and
accessing the many files that have accumulated
