Clement, I haven't noticed anything like that yet with my X5, but I have read some reviews in the past where people said they began to have trouble with the joy stick, and they had to send in their units for repairs. It's really too bad. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. You may have to take advantage of your warrantee and get your unit checked out. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
