Yes my player is otherwise fine. It was fine playing mp3 files before, but
this all started after I switched to ogg.

Do you use "caption backlight"? I usually use this, but I have recently
switched it off because of the correlation of timing of the issues. So
far, since switching it off I have had no more freezes. I will try this
for a while longer, and if I see no problems with it after a while, I will
turn it back on and see if the issues return.
