The rockboxdev.sh script needs to be adapted to check for this case and then
apply the following patch:

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/viewfile/Main/CrossCompiler?rev=1;filename=gcc-3.4.6-amd64-subst.patch

Until that happens, you need to build the cross-compiler the manual way.
